[ICOM] Using CT-17 with 765 Pro III and PW1

I have the 756 Pro III and the PW1 amplifier.  I have the Pro 3 and the PW1 
working well.  However, I want to add the CT-17 so that I can interface the 
756 with the computer, but the PW1 manual says you can not use the CT-17 if 
you want to remote the PW1.  It seems from the manual to be an either or 
situation.

Am I interpreting the manual correctly?
