[ICOM] 751A

I have a 751A and mine is quiet while tuning as you
suggested - no "clickety-clickety" and I have tinitus, too...

Anyone With a 751A...

If you get the chance, try something for me...

Turn your volume control completely counterclockwise (i.e. maximum quiet)
--- now, with headphones on & plugged into the rig, turn the frequency
select/tuning knob...the mode/band/VFO source/etc. doesn't matter.

Do you hear it, too...? A kinda "clickety-clickety" sound, or ratchet
effect, every 10-Hz.

Is that normal...? Sometimes I notice it more than others, but then I have
tinitus, too...
