Actually, what I would like, is to open up the radio's transmit capabilities 
without disabling the edge beep feature ...   thanks!  ????  Mark  (other

Not sure about the P2, but on P3 it can be deactivated in the "others" menu
selection as beep band edge. Hope this helps.
