The occasional off-topic post slips into the ICOM reflector from time to
time, but I usually don't get involved unless they get out of hand or, as
in this case, people start to assert they have some "right" to do so.
This reflector is about ICOM equipment, not every tangential service or
operation that could possibly utilize ICOM equipment. Off-topic posts
aren't accepted out of courtesy, but out of tolerance for those that either
don't know the rules or who occasionally forget them.
It is a different matter entirely when folks are aware of the rules, but
feel they can ignore them simply by flagging them as "off topic." If you
wish to assert courtesy, please be courteous to those who subscribe to the
ICOM reflector expecting to read about and discuss ICOM equipment.
This topic is also closed.
