Subject: [ICOM] need help on dc jumper plug...ic251a
Hi
Just picked up a beautiful ic-251a. powered the rig up.. line voltage..
rig doa. downloaded the manual found out the dc input power connector needs
a jumper in place before the rig will power up on its own built in supply.
the manual does not give any
info on which 2 pins need to be jumped, there is no circuit diagram in the
manual. the dc jack ...molex type connector... has 4 horizontal pins, the
body of the connector ...looking at the back of the rig.....
goes to a pointed shape to the right side of the connector.
I found loads of info on the web about the 251 ....but not a darn thing
about this simple plug. I suppose I can open the rig and try to trace the 4
pins ,just thought this would be a lot easier.
Any help...would be grateful.
thanks
