I have a collection of perhaps 100 IC-761 photos I
collected for the Icomclassic site, I went back thru
them and found only a couple pictures (of the same
radio) that had the "new" logo. If you want to look at
the picture, let me know and I will send it direct.
This version of radio must be very scarce, as I only
collected one picture
of this variant.

As usual Adam, your analysis of the 761 vs. 751 is
spot on. It is also worth mentioning that the IC-761
had the UX-14 installed as standard equipment, for
CI-V use. The actual board was identical to the UX-14,
except that it was mounted in a very nice tin box,
shielded, but with shorter leads. In IC-761 parlance,
it was known as the "Logic Unit A".
