[ICOM] COUPLE ICOM 706 questions

I just got a used Icom 706 MKIIG

First Question
Is there a way to turn down the volume of the cw monitor.
When I send cw, the volume of the monitor is far too loud.
Can't seem to find that in the manual

Second Question
Does it matter in what order I install the two filters.
FL232 AND FL223?
I did a Set Mode 9 and 10 to activate them.
