I have been reading the email on the subject of CW being
dropped as a requirement to obtain a Ham License. 

I probably do not feel as bad as some because I had
processed this in my mind some months ago. I figured the
FCC would drop the CW requirement eventually. 

I am only 99% CW operator!! Not 100%!! I still enjoy
sitting back and enjoying a nice mellow high definition
audio sound!

Since i have all the acessories I need for my Elecraft K1
and KX1 in January when I am back home I intend to make my
Icom a "Keeper!"

Improvements in the 706MKIIG will be a better preamp and I
am going to remove the DSP and install another DSP circuit
that will work much better. I live in abt a S-8-9 noise
area!
