Hi Jerry,

I presume that by "Standby", you mean "powered up, receiving but with audio
output turned off".

Go to the OTHERS menu, configure the RF/SQL menu item as RF+SQL (default),
and turn the RF/SQL knob fully clockwise.  Alternatively, turn the AF Gain
control fully CCW.

How do I put the 756 Pro2 or 756Pro3 into Standby mode?   At present, I 
leave my headphones loose in the front panel socket, and push the plug in
for Standby... it's not what I really want, though, and I worry that the
Phones socket will wear out.
