[ICOM] dynamic mike

I also have Heil HC4 in my headset, HC5 and studio in my gold line that were
bought for my Kenwood 440 and use them through an adapter (pinout changer
with out any preamplifier) on the original Icom 746 and have never done any
of the mods to the Icom BUT I have to turn the mic gain all the way up to
get the gain as it would have been in a "normal" setting on the Kenwood.
Works fine that way so IMHO the mods do not really have to be done. It does
take the gain (on my particular radio) up to where it needs to be and maybe
a bit above although other radios may not have been set exactly as mine new
from the factory.
