[ICOM] 746 Orig on 60 meters

I have the mod BUT I seem to remember someone told me a while back that the
706 would work fine but the 746 filters would cut it pretty bad.  I do not
want to damage the radio.  Question is if it "hurts" or strains the radio to
operate in that manner.
