Hmmmm.... I did say "Not as nice as the 781" didn't I.

Was anything else implied?  Still, it works and has many advantages over
other radios in some operational conditions. I have a whole station in a
suitcase, 706, AH-3, PS-55.  A 35 ft fiberglass vertical and a 2kw generator
- ready to jump.  And a whole lot more compact than most other stuff too.
Takes up about as much room at the TS-2000, much less if you run it on DC -
leave the PS-55 and the generator at home too.

One mans trash - etc.
