[ICOM] TS-2000 vs. IC-910

I had a vry late model TS-2000 not vry long ago. I traded a IC-756PRO for it even up.
You might want to try one first and see if you like the sensitivity and selectivity on HF first.
I liked:
The ability to work Sats at the click of a button
The ability to listen to the local repeaters while working DX or a contest
The fact that it had a pretty cool look to it
The fact that it had a serial connector
The number of coax connectors on the back
The ease of programming it
The fact that it could be updated by download
I didn't like:
The selectivity or sensitivity
(which is what a receiver is all about)
The fact that I had to go into the menus too often for standard changes such as key speed and pitch
The fact that it seemed to run a little hot to the touch after left on for a day or two.
The fact that the buttons are way too close on the front panel
So I traded mine for an IC-775 and have never been sorry since for the trade offs. And loosing 6 MTRS was a big deal to me but the
rest of the downsides were not worth having the 6 mtrs for me.
