[ICOM] RE: IC 910H TX problem.

Hello:

 

I have a problem with the my 910 when I transmit in UHF .

 

The transceiver is transmitting full power in the beginning of the band
(430.000 to 432.300) and at the end (436.900 to 440.000).

But between those points the transceiver turn down the power about the
50%. This is not a SWR problem. Precisely when the is SWR is very weak,
is when the transceiver is taking down the power.

I am getting the same problem with two different antennas, both are
correctly adjusted.

If I connect the transceiver to a dummy load It transmits full power in
all the band.

I don't have the problem in VHF.

 

What can be wrong? The impedance of the antennas are not 50 Ohm and
then, the transceiver protects himself?
