There are many mechnical and electrical items on this planet rated at 100% 
duty cycle with plenty of safety margin.  That does not mean one would do 
such a thing just to do such a thing.

But, in the end, it's not my radio he is running that way.  The suggestions 
made were not criticism of him, but were meant to be helpful.  There are 
also better ways to test a dummy load.

I'll be more careful next time in the way and manner in which I help someone 
or make a suggestion.
