[ICOM] 756 Replacement Display Questions

Bruce,
I don't remember the display cost. I think it was $285. Comtek changed it
out for 1 hour at $50 per hour for labor. The warrantee was 1 year. I
remember the ICOM (Bellevue, Washington) time estimate was higher and the
labor rate was over 50% greater.
I went to a local Tacoma Radio Club swap meet today. And I met Kuni, the
Comtek owner. He believes that Icom still has some of the newer displays.
