[ICOM] Re Icom Issue

I had an original IC-756 and it developed the " blue line" syndrome, as did  
many others at that time. Icom would not answer my e mail's or accept  
responsibility for selling us a radio with defects !! They completely ignored  all of 
the complaints about the screens. The numbers are wrong because a lot of  
guy's wanted to keep quiet about the problem and pass off their infected radio  
to a unsuspecting ham. I hate to tell this story but it is true. A lot of  
radio's developed the problem. The only cure was to have a better scope  
installed. At that time, the scope cost about $200 and $100 to install it,  if you 
could find a new scope !! Willy K3VW
