[ICOM] ICOM 746 PRO circa 2004

If the default setup has not been changed, the proper
setting for the RF GAIN/SQUELCH pot is the center for
all modes.  Look in the manual for what you can do to
optimize this function for each mode and your preference.

When I am listening to the AM aircraft freqs, my AGC, squelch and RF control 
must be set just right or I get a similiar response.  So it may be in your 
settings?
