I expect they can be adapted to other rigs that have
an internal antenna tuner, and thus have the capability
to let the ALC reduce the power, and switch to
CW/FM/RTTY when their "Tune" button is pushed.
I did that to my TS-940 and it worked very well.
Now I'm installing a board from the AH-4 into an
empty AH-2 case.  Leaves room for a good 1:1 balun
and antenna feed line remote controlled switch.
