de WB2CPN         On the AH-2 and AH-4.

Both of them will tune from just above the standard
broadcast band up.  MARS and CAP included.  Loss
on 6-mtrs with a "long" wire is probally sky high, but
I get out locally very well.  IC-706MkII.   They're
not miracle workers, not Magic, so they can't conjugate
with real high or real low j and Z's.  The AH-4 does
better than the AH-2.  The lower the Q of the antenna
the better.  180 feet, center fed with ladder line, 1:1
balun at the AH-4.  That's my favorite, although I'm
now using a 80 foot wire, 15 feet high, well stem for
a ground.    Good Luck.
