[ICOM] IC-PW1 update

As I understand it the main differences is that the older PW-1's must be
in the on mode to operate even if you don't use the amp. The newer
models can be used straight through with the power off. The older models
can't be converted so far as I know.

I own an old PW1 amplifier.
Does anyone know the differences between my old one and the current
production ? Is it possible to update old amplifiers ?
