[ICOM] 746PRO CI-V

Hello Adam and the Icom Gang,

I just confirmed this evening that the CI-V jack on the rear of my 746pro
has ceased to operate.  I finally got my PW-1 back from Icom and no marriage
between the two.  I borrowed my friends 746pro and "wala" it linked up
perfectly and linked to TRX Manager as well.

I plan to open the case tomorrow and see what if anything may have happened
physically.  

Any ideas out there as to why operation would stop.  Otherwise I guess back
to Icom she goes.  The Icom Service manager (Dan) who is quite
knowledgeable, said that a CI-V failure is quite rare.  

Tomorrow another ham friend of mine is bringing his O-scope to see is there
is any output.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
