[ICOM] Splices

Anyone, but particularly Gary....

Looking for information on splicing/repairing the fiber-optic cable such as
what is used to remote Icom 900/901 radios.  The cable is cut through about
1 foot from the end.

Can the end connector be removed and re-installed, or ?????
