[ICOM] AH4 with FT857

I have an Icom AH4 + IC706MKII combo that works well. 

I also have an FT857 in the shack and was wondering if
the AH4 could be made to work with the FT857D? I
cannot recall where, but do remember reading somewhere
about changing the wiring of the tuner interphase
cable for the AH4 to accept the tune command from the
FT857. Is that something that can be achieved?
