It's really very simple to get rid of the 3.579545 MHz harmonic birdies. 
Just unplug all of your television sets, vcrs, computers, and dvd players. 
Then remove the batteries from everything that has a digital clock 
(including your automobiles).  Then visit your neighbors and repeat the 
above.  Presto, no more birdies.
