I agree with you in regard to the Kenwood 950SDX. It is the best
performing of all my rigs. Recently I have been using the 1000MP for CW and
RTTY contesting and have no complaints. No fatigue factor from the audio
and filtering of either rigs. I have not tested my Pro3 in a contest yet,
but the audio sounds pretty good through the Icom SP-23 speaker.
