[ICOM] Problem with my 765

Hi Gus,

Thanks for your reply. It's embarrasing to think that it might have been the
case. I'm 100% sure that the RF gain was fully CW, as always, when
experiencing the problem. Well, I'm getting older so maybe I shouldn't be so
sure. Hi!! Anyway, it's working now and has been for the last hour or so.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If it happens again I'll let the reflector know.

Hi Bert,

It's possible that the RF gain control was fully CCW. It is concentric with
the AF control. A pegged meter and no audio are symptomatic of the RF gain
being backed completely off. Adjusting the AF control might have set the RF
gain back to the CW position.
