[ICOM] Problem with my 765

Last night when switching on my 765 I got a real surprise. I have never seen
this before and I'll try to explain what happened.

When pushing the "power on" button everything lights up as ususual but there
is no audio. Absolutely dead silence and the meter is pegged in the most
right position. No output. No smell of  anything warm or burnt.

It seems that most functions are OK - I can switch bands, display is OK,
etc.

I know it's not much to go on but ideas and tips would be much appreciated.
