Well not sure about October 1st, but if it is a non warranty repair and it
is on an older rig, then why send to Icom at all. Scott Malcolm at MTS is
near Icom out there in Washington and is an absolute master with the older
Icoms. You'll get excellent service and I bet it will be a lot less
expensive.
