 Hello all,

 I would have to vote for the IC-706 Mk2G.  Although not strictly HF as it
 covers the VHF/UHF bands as well.  Excellent performer for mobile portable
 and base operation and has a good range of accessories to make it a bit
more
 comfortable.

 I am not fortunate enough to have experience with the later and improved
 radios at the home shack, the base rig here is still an IC-751.  The only
thing I think Icom left off in this rig is the CW keyer.  Of course, they
included it in the 751A.  I think the 751 is still up there among the
classics despite the lack of a keyer.
