[ICOM] Best Icom HF rig

The 775's nasty habit of transmitting a spur on the receive frequency when
operating split with dual-watch enabled would disqualify it as "the best
Icom HF rig" from my perspective. While it took years, Icom did correct this
defect -- unfortunately by limiting the radio's QSK speed.
The 781 is an excellent radio, but its power supply requires external
cooling to work around a design error.
If the 7800 isn't Icom's best HF rig, then someone has some explaining to
do...

Dave, AA6YQ

Subject: [ICOM] Best Icom HF rig
In your opinion, what is the best Icom HF rig ever made-the 775? 781? 765?
Anything else? Trying to work this up into an article on HF rigs.
