Adam,
The amp was supposed to be set up with 10/12m enabled before
it was shipped to me. Between my email and your reply I came
to the same conclusion that this had not been done. Thanks.
Doug

Hi Doug,
A few questions:
1. Did you execute the 10/12m enabling procedure as per the downloadable
Quadra documents? (These are on http://www.qsl.net/icom/) If you did not,
the amplifier will not go into [OPERATE] mode on 10 or 12 metres.
2. If you did carry out the procedure, did you change the setting from [USA]
to [GEN] as instructed?
3. Are you testing into a dummy load? If the answers to 1. and 2. are "Yes",
but you tested into an antennas system, you may be seeing be RF feedback.
(Dick, begging your indulgence. Doug directed the question to me because I
run a Quadra with a Pro3 as exciter.)
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Adam,
I just unpacked my new Quadra and I came across an anomaly that you will be
able to answer.
When I switch to 10 or 12m the amp defaults to low power and will not go to
high...is this correct? All other bands it runs at high power (haven't
checked 6m yet).
