[ICOM] IC-2710H VHF Output Power ?

Rob,

When you get to looking at the service manual you might look at see 
what voltage is going into the control pin on the power brick. If its 
near source voltage it might be the brick in trouble or a cap with in it.
sometimes you can lift the output pin and terminate that into some 
coax that is attached to a wattmeter and dummy load. If the power is 
restored then suspect the output filter.
Check to see kind of current is it drawing at full power. If near 
specified current draw then I would again suspect the output filter 
OR a connection with in the brick in trouble.
Some have been successful re soldering the chip caps inside the brick 
when there might be a cracked solder joint.
