Not always !
In my case they just developed leaks. I had to replace all of them but the
traces were OK. In any case if you can get ceramic types, in the size 12 by
6 mils, use them. You should be able to obtain up to 10 uF caps in that body
size. That leave only one or two to be replaced by electrolytics. Don't
skimp, buy the best ones you can find, they're going to be cheaper in the
long run.
