There were also (a) a number of problems fixed by a firmware upgrade(b) rotary encoder would sieze up and needed to be replaced (Icom used a new vendor for this part from what I was told), (c) display would dim a bit on cw transmit, and (d) a few other odds and ends.

Icom did all the fixes and upgrades in Bellvue as in-warranty repair. However, I think around SN1900 all were incorporated during production.
