Hello David,

I own a IC-775DSP with (European) serial number 1998 and before the IC-765. 
The 775DSP is better and much more innovated. Strongly advise the IC-775DSP.

However; I would not advise early models of the IC-775DSP, with serial 
numbers below 1500. There could be a lot of troubles come over you...
