Hi all: I think there may be some slight translation issues from what Max said. As I iterpret what was intended to be said, Icom Japan issued a statement saying that some failures of the PW-1 was determined to be caused by extraneous RF getting into the relay switching lines on the filters, thus relay selection errors could occur, causing the failures. Their solution is to add some additional RF bypass caps on the relay switching lines. Just my take from having this problem many years ago when I was on a design team for a military solid state HF amp.
