Hi Tony,
The "10 dB" refers to the vertical graticule of the scope display (10
dB/div. on the vertical axis.) I have made a graph of spectrum scope
vertical reading vs. input signal power:

Cheers for now, 73,

Hi all,
A simple question, I hope. When the rig is in SCOPE mode, on the left of the
spectrum scope are some numbers/letters depending what one has selected.
First is GRID info. Under Grid info it says 10dB. What does this refer to??
Is it strength of incoming signals?? i.e. 10dB per horizontal line??
Silly question but its something I have only just noticed.
73's de Tony G8DQZ.
