The Sherwood cooling kit for the Icom 781 is a must if you run it in
contests and long time on use ..even in standby. I installed them in the
two 781s I run here ...most time is in contests these days and the
difference when they did not have the cooling setup is tremendous touching
the back heat sinks now are warm not HOT. The markings match the original
so in reselling would not be a detriment infact a good selling point.
Installation is simple one solder joint easy to get at...it takes
longer to remove the screws than the soldering.
