I find I need three browsers, Internet Explorer, Mozilla (Netscape or
Firefox or Mozilla) and Opera - some pages and downloads work with one but
not the other.
Some FCC downloads - like the FCC approval of the ICOM 756PRO3 only
downloaded with Mozilla, while other pages only load in Internet Explorer,
I've learned that missing buttons (with a link you must push) can be "found"
by loading the page in Internet Explorer. I think it has to do with the
current "Java War" going on. IE uses it's own variety while Sun Java is
used by Mozilla (Netscape) and Opera.
But nothing is as fast as Firefox or Opera. Opera is my favorite as it
allows you to zoom easily both text and images.
Sure makes those ICOM pages look big.
