[ICOM] 746-Pro for sale

Well, it looks like we are about to do the old "Get the daughter  through 
college" bit here, so I guess it is time to start thinning out the shack  a 
little. I have an Icom 746-Pro I that I purchased as a demo from Burghardt's  on 
11/3/2003.( serial #1680) Right after I got it I thought it had a bit more  play 
in the tuning shaft than it should have, so I took it down to The RF  Shop in 
Hamilton, OH for encoder replacement under warranty. I have never had  any 
other problems with it. It is in excellent physical shape, with the only  flaws 
I see being a tiny chip out on the edge of the center of the tuning  knob (you 
have to look for it) and some paint removal in the screw slots where  the 
cabinet was removed for the encoder repair. I would sell it for $875 (postal  
money order), and the actual cost of shipping in the lower 48. I don't wish  to 
get involved with the international stuff! Yes, I do have the box, manual and  
mic. Sorry, I have no way to send pictures but, if you are close enough to  
West Alexandria, OH (near Dayton) to come over and take a look, I would be glad
