[ICOM] IC775DSP problems

I have two issues:
1.  Rig control no longer works with any software (writelog and dx4win) -
not an address issue.  While I do see digital output at the rear panel jack,
it looks funny.  Any one experience component failure in the rig control
circuit?   Perhaps do to RF getting into the radio, etc?

2. CW and RTTY output is dependent on where the drive control for the speech
processor is set??!!??  I never use the speech processor so I had turned the
control all the way down.  This caused no output on CW and RTTY.  I have to
turn the drive control up to at least 12 o'clock to get full output on CW
and RTTY.  Took me two years to figure this out on my own.  Two trips to
Icom resulted in no problem found both times.   Is this normal?
