[ICOM] IC-706 MKIIG Address number

Lou,

You can simply go to the SET MODE on your MkIIG and see what the address is.

A quick check of my MkIIG manual leaves me a bit confused.  In the SET MODE
programming section it states "The IC-706MKIIG’s address is 4EH".  However, it
indicates the default address is 58H.

I am considering buying a N2VZ TurboTuner for a screwdriver and his installation
manual states the "CI-V Address needs to be set to 58H which is the default for
to 706 MKIIG".

I don't beleive it matters what address you select as long as the rig and PC
software us the same one and no other device on the bus has the same address.
