Dan: I use this combination and have for a while ... works just fine. I do
not have any outboard relay and believe that none is needed. Look in the
PROII manual. I think they describe it (the hook-up)in "non-Icom amplifier
use" or some such heading. I have not generally used the ALC line , but ,
for some reason, after moving QTH and re-assembly, I did. The plugs are on
the rear panel and are labeled. Again, see the book.
The amp is a good one and will protect itself from most typical errors.
Don't over-drive it ... the risk-reward ration there is not in your favor.
