It isn't really tough to do.  I got my bulbs at RAT SHACK.
Did both my 228A and 228H.

If you can't find/download the service manual, I can make
a copy of the needed pages from mine and send by mail.

I lost my back ground lighting on my ole trusty back up rig, can still
see the black freq. read out numbers though. I went to www.mod's.dk to
try and down load a copy of the service manual but after down load ran it
said it was contaminated and I couldn't open it. The owners manual
doesn't cover the lighting and I looked the rig over with both covers off
and couldn't see anything obvious, any ideas/help or any other place I
can down load another copy of the service manual?, Thanks Mac
