>From further discussion with my friend Matt KK5DR, I have learned that
although the PW1 PSU must be powered up to operate the ATU, the 13.8V
auxiliary supply will allow the PW1 to retain its previous configuration,
including all ATU settings, when the main POWER switch is turned off after
the tuning cycle has completed. This applies to newer PW1 versions, whether
the PA stage is on-line or in standby. A minimum drive level of 60W is
required for proper ATU operation.

Hi Adam and group,

Not certain I agree that the antenna tuner in the PW1 functions when the
main switch is off at the PW1.
My ATU internal to the PW1, later serial #, does not work unless the power
is on to the PW-1.
