Randy,

It really was not a " Factory " mod but a technicians mod who worked at 
Icom America. I think Scott Malcom has it listed on his web page.
Most of the older radios Icom quit directly supporting a while ago. The 730 
was one where a package of the contents of the entire tech support file was 
photocopied along with the owners manual and service manual and sold as the 
support for the radio. icom's parts should still have that available, 
Others here can point you to Scott Malcom's web site. I know its on 
anglefire but the exact URL I don't have.
