[ICOM] IC-756 repair or not?

If it were mine I would repair the main board. Icom parts are very
inexpensive in the U.S., not sure about Canada.

Signal tracing on surface mount devices is not difficult as each component
has at least two accessible test points. And with Chip Quick (low
temperature solder) replacing them is not difficult.

I must confess that I do enjoy repairing my own equipment as it keeps my
troubleshooting skills sharp.
