[ICOM] Older DXBase & IC-761 problem

I'm using an IC-761 and a copy of DXBase 2000 which I've just re-installed 
on a new computer with WIN XP Pro.  I have everything working EXCEPT I 
can't seem to get the computer to talk to the radio.  In other words, I've 
installed my .mdb file with 32K QSOs and when I log a QSO all the right 
information goes into the log so the radio is talking to the computer.  But 
if I try to get the radio to go to an internet packet spot, absolutely 
nothing happens.  What did I do wrong?  Everything worked fine on my old 
computer with WIN 98.
