I agree with Michael, and disagree with Clete: since threading sometimes 
fails to work correctly in mail clients, just as it does in news clients,
quotes without context sometimes are meaningless. 

If, for instance, I had responded "I agree" (or "I disagree"), without any
context, would I have been agreeing with Clete or with Michael? 

The important thing is to _TRIM_ so that only useful material is quoted.
